San Bruno Noir is a noir parody set in San Bruno, California. The film follows hardboiled private investigator Benson as an alarming murder and coverup forces him back to the hometown that he left under uneasy circumstances. With the help of old friends, mutual allies, and strangers, Benson unravels the greatest case of his career — a case that involves not just the broken San Bruno of the present, but ghosts from the past, in a case that decides the future.
